Dr. Kanwaljeet Behl is an experienced and dedicated veterinarian with over 20 years of expertise in both small and large animal care. He earned his veterinary degree from Punjab Agricultural University in 2001 and completed a master’s in animal reproduction, gynecology, and obstetrics in 2003.
Since moving to Canada in 2017, Dr. Behl has been committed to delivering high-quality veterinary care to pets across the Lower Mainland. As the owner of Yorkson Creek Veterinary Hospital, he not only provides expert medical and surgical services but also oversees the day-to-day operations of the hospital. Under his leadership, the clinic remains a clean, modern, and welcoming environment for both pets and their families. Dr. Behl brings extensive hands-on experience in performing complicated surgeries, managing challenging medical cases with skill, precision, and confidence. His advanced clinical expertise ensures that even the most complex procedures are handled with the utmost care and attention.
A proud father of three daughters, Dr. Behl is deeply family-oriented—values that carry over into his professional life. He treats every pet as a cherished member of the family and strives to create a practice where clients feel heard, supported, and cared for. Dr. Khehra brings a strong foundation of academic excellence and clinical experience to Yorkson Creek. She holds a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc & A.H) and a Master of Veterinary Science (M.V.Sc) from Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, a leading institution in India. Her academic and clinical journey was greatly shaped by the insightful mentorship of Dr. Behl, whose guidance inspired her commitment to excellence in veterinary medicine.
With a deep-rooted passion for animal health and welfare, Dr. Khehra is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate veterinary care. Her clinical interests include preventative medicine, internal medicine, and advancing patient outcomes through evidence-based practices. Outside of work, Dr. Khehra enjoys the company of her five pets—three dogs and a horse in India, and her dog, Dude, and her cat, Garfield, in Canada.
Baban plays a pivotal role in the smooth and efficient operation of our hospital through her exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and people management skills. As the Human Resources Manager, she is responsible for overseeing recruitment, staff development, employee relations, and compliance with healthcare regulations—all while ensuring that our team is aligned with our core values of compassionate, high-quality care.
Her focus on creating a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work environment directly contributes to the exceptional service and care we provide. Baban ensures that every staff member is supported, trained, and empowered to perform at their best, ultimately enhancing patient outcomes and client satisfaction.

Megha oversees front office operations, including client intake, appointment scheduling, and phone communications, ensuring every visit starts with a warm and welcoming experience. She also assists the veterinary team with treatments and patient care, offering comfort and support to both pets and their owners.
In addition to her clinical and administrative responsibilities, Megha leads the clinic’s marketing and social media efforts.
